The majority of UC Davis students bike to class, and many of the permanent Davis residents also choose to bike. IMPORTANT: Please remember that you are required to have a bike light after dark. If you do not have a bike light, the police could pull you over and fine you, and it’s an expensive fine. When riding a bike in Davis, remember that you are required to follow the rules of the road. Many students get fined for not making a complete stop at a stop sign. Remember to make a full stop before proceeding through an intersection!
